Our Festival has been building success each year and brought thousands of visitors to Mainstreet and our Center for the Arts. Over 60 artists exhibited their creations while music, food, and family activities added to the festive atmosphere. This year we hope to increase the number of artists as we change the Festival’s layout, introduce emerging artists and enhance our Patron Program with a meet-the-artist emphasis.
Last year’s success was due in large measure to the wonderful volunteers who set up, staffed and dismantled the festival. We really need this same spirit to enable us to grow this year and we hope you will help us make this happen, Please check your calendars and save a few hours to work on the Hopkins Arts Festival.
Whether you have a limited amount of time available or you are able to help for the entire time, we are grateful for your support. Spread the word to your family and friends about this exciting event!
Tasks include booth setup, artist assistance, traffic direction, staffing of the information booth and emerging artists tent, parking management, general hospitality, closing down/clean up of the festival, and miscellaneous tasks.
